Principals
Stewart Vachal – President
Stew graduated from ND State School of Science with Parts Management degree. Started working in oil & gas industry in 1974 as Parts Person for a Waukesha Engine distributor in Williston, ND. With the same company was promoted to Parts Manager, District Salesman, District Manager, & Regional Manager for North & South Dakota, Wyoming, and Montana. Stew was Manager over Williston, ND and Casper, WY facilities prior to the company being sold to Stewart & Stevenson. Stew was than hired by S&S to manage the Williston branch until they sold that facility & Waukesha distributorship for that territory in 1999. From there, Industrial Equipment was born. Stew has been married to Carol for 37 years and they have three grown children.
Rory Anderson - Partner
Rory is a life long North Dakota resident graduated from WHS with the class of 1978, attended welding school at the North Dakota State School of Science. He moved back to Williston in 1980 and went to work for Seco Truck Equipment as a welder until 1987. Rory went to work at Pamco where he started as a shop hand. He worked his way up to Service Manager after Stewart and Stevenson purchased Pamco. In 1999 when Stewart and Stevenson was sold he went into partnership with Stewart Vachal and Dean Klein and helped start Industrial Equipment Sales and Service. Rory and Toni have been married 30 years and have 3 sons.
Dean Klein - Treasurer
Dean graduated from UND Williston College with Diesel Mechanic degree. Dean worked in Idaho for an implement dealer until moving back to Williston. He began working for the Waukesha Engine distributor in 1979 as shop mechanic. Dean moved up quickly to Lead Field Service Technician and soon Service Manager. Dean stayed in the Service Department after the buy-out from Stewart & Stevenson. Dean attended most of the Waukesha Service Schools at Waukesha, WI and was only two schools away from getting his gold wrenches from Waukesha Engine. Dean has been married to Janice for 31 years and they have three grown daughters.
